Episode 7 // Two Hearts, Strangely Warmed
40m
With emphasis once again on the Father's outward & sometimes mysterious ways of leading, Carl looks at the subject of Providence: the idea that your Heavenly Father has already gone ahead of you, down your path, and He is organizing and creating wonderful circumstances for you to walk into.
Carl opens & closes the film inside the very bedroom where John Wesley, Methodist founder and one of the key leaders of the Great Awakening of the 1700's, breathed his last breath. He shares some incredible and unknown insights into the actual new-birth conversion experiences of both John and his brother, Charles Wesley, and some revival stories featuring England's greatest evangelist: George Whitefield.
This Director's Cut features Irish Worship Leader, Robin Mark, singing a rendition of the Charles Wesley hymn that he wrote upon his conversion.
Included as a rare bonus Carl visits "The Hiding Place" in Holland to tell the tale once again of sister Corrie ten Boom, and how Providence led her in multiple ways, even inside the very Concentration Camp where she was held.
Finally, Carl shares his own personal "P.S." to the story and explains why his own middle name is, "Wesley." Prepare for Providence!
