Episode 2 combines passionate exhortations, interviews, and historical references to share the vitality of learning to hear, "a word from the Word."

The Bible is ALIVE through the ministry of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Carl opens in London, then visits Scotland & shares the tales of the Covenanters (who gave their lives for the Word in the 17th Century) and one in particular: "Prophet" Alexander Peden, who wore a mask of real human hair as a disguise to evade authorities and preach the Living Word of God with boldness.

Next, Carl visits Wales to share the remarkable tale of Rees Howells, a simple coal minor from the early 20th Century, whom God spoke to from the Living Word and challenged him to purchase a huge estate for a new Bible College.

Finally, Carl visits a Concentration Camp inside the Netherlands that Corrie ten Boom (of "The Hiding Place" fame) once suffered in, to share a story of forgiveness and how the Living Word can sometimes bring reconciliation and even salvation in Christ.

He includes a quote from Anne Graham Lotz, daughter of the late Dr. Billy Graham. He closes with another personal story of hope from his own cancer battle.
